But an equally important reason to participate is, that by doing so, you are supporting the medical needs of the uninsured and underserved in our community.
The Care-A-Van is a vital component of Bon Secours Hampton Roads’s comprehensive community health and outreach services — bringing much needed health services to our community. These well-equipped medical health units travel throughout the metro area to provide free primary, urgent and preventive health care to those most in need in our community. Services include health screenings, immunizations for children, flu shots for adults, school physicals for uninsured children, and the examination and treatment of sick uninsured patients.
