Rappahannock General Hospital
Rappahannock General Hospital has served residents of the Northern Neck and Middle Peninsula since 1977 and officially joined Bon Secours in December 2014. Attending to a population of 35,000, Rappahannock General remains committed in its dedication to meet the health care needs of the community by continually expanding services, facilities and medical staff to provide quality, compassionate health care close to home.
Rappahannock General has consistently received national recognition for achievements in accordance with its mission to provide quality, compassionate care to all. Most recently, the hospital was awarded advanced certification for primary stroke centers from the Joint Commission in February 2014.
On Dec. 31, 2014, Rappahannock General Hospital joined Bon Secours Virginia Health System. Now as a member of the Bon Secours family, the opportunity exists to enhance facilities and expand medical services to provide care across the continuum to its surrounding population.
