Community Hospice House
Hospice care has been a founding element of the ministry of the Sisters of Bon Secours that began in 1824.
A hallmark of Bon Secours Richmond since 1982, that caring tradition continues as we help patients and their families prepare for the end of life’s journey. Bon Secours Hospice is about people, patients and families, and doing all we can to provide them with comfort, strength and support when it is needed most.
In keeping with the mission of Bon Secours to provide “good help to those in need,” the opening of Central Virginia’s first Community Hospice House will be open to the entire community and shared by all Richmond-area health systems and physicians. Guided by a holistic approach to medicine and surrounded by a garden and other elements designed to promote peace and healing, the Community Hospice House will ensure that comfort and dignity are delivered to all.
We hope you will help us continue to deliver hope to patients and their families in the Bon Secours Richmond Hospice Program by participating in The Amazing Raise, a 36-hour online giving challenge hosted by The Community Foundation. Celebrating five years of support to area nonprofits, this year’s Amazing Raise will be held Sept. 16-17 and donations made to the Bon Secours Richmond Health Care Foundation will support our Hospice Program.
Good help brings hope and we hope you will participate in the Bon Secours Richmond Health Care Foundation's “Amazing Raise" campaign.
