expanding our impact

Few are called to serve in this demanding profession, and training those who are is costly because of the unique and sophisticated skills required.

Bon Secours Richmond forensic nurses want to share their knowledge, experience and clinical care. Donor support will help:

  • Buy more equipment for a second exam room, so the nurses can help more patients more quickly.
  • Expand care to more communities.
  • Grow their reach by mentoring others who work with victims beyond the coverage area.
  • Building a much needed training program for rural nurses in conjunction with the Bon Secours Memorial College of Nursing.

“The nurses at St. Mary’s understand why abuse happens and what the victims are going through. The care that they give is beyond phenomenal.” — Patty Hall, programs director, Hanover Safe Place
