Be a Comfort for Others

Provide lodging for people with a loved one in the hospital

The Evelyn D. Reinhart Guest House is a home away from home for a patient's family

Out of town guests of St. Mary's Hospital have a safe, well-appointed place to stay nearby

When a loved one is in the hospital, it can be a stressful time. For people who live out of town but want to remain nearby for frequent visits, the cost of a hotel room can add up quickly. The Reinhart Guest House on Libbie Avenue in Richmond has 16 beautiful guest suites and common areas where families can eat, relax, pray and find support among others in similar circumstances.

Thanks to our generous donors, no family is turned away due to an inability to pay. The suggested daily lodging rate is only $45, thanks to donations that supplement the costs to operate the facility. Donations also cover the lodging fee for families who can't afford the daily rate.

The Blessing House

“Thank you for all you have done to make it possible for me to stay here while my mom had back surgery. I did not have to drive an hour and a half each way. This house should be called 'The Blessing House.' Everyone has been really awesome. God Bless.”

Peace and Normalcy

“Thank you so much for being here. The stress of our daughter’s surgery was complicated enough. Taking shifts at the PICU and coming back to this wonderful facility gave us some peace and normalcy.”
