Board member

Ms. Tak brings many years of financial, marketing and entrepreneurial skills to the table. She worked on Wall Street for seven years as an investment banker and for a private investor group where she managed alternative investments for a multi-billion dollar private investment group. In 2010, she made two telecommunication apps, which are available for iPad and iPhone, related to childhood development and food allergies. She is currently the Chairperson for Harvard College recruiting in Richmond, Virginia and serves as a volunteer on the Lower School Admissions Committee for Collegiate School. She is a member of the Canvas Advisory Committee at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts and was selected to be on the Leadership Council for the National Asian Americans & Pacific Islanders for Hillary Leadership Council. She contributes her time and efforts to several charities nationwide and is most passionate about helping underserved and underprivileged women and children.

In March 2016, GoFar Snacks launched their initial line of snack products with a public premiere at The Virginia Food and Beverage Expo. The move marks the opening of a new, Richmond-based company that produces healthy, nut-free products and “school safe” snacking alternatives for children with food allergies, while at the same time providing snacks with the nutritional foundation children need and deserve.
