William B. Thalhimer III

Retired

William B. Thalhimer III left the family business in 1991 to pursue other interests. He later served the Virginia Landmark Corp. in commercial real estate sales. Thalhimer has been active on many boards, including the Children’s Hospital, the Collegiate School, the Genealogical Research Institute of Virginia and the Wake Forest University Parents Council. He currently serves on the boards of the Virginia Historical Society, Congregation Beth Ahabah, the Hebrew Cemetery, the Barbara J. Thalhimer and William B. Thalhimer Jr. Family Fund, the Hebrew Fund for the Aged and the Beth Ahabah Foundation and Endowment Fund. Currently in his second run with the Bon Secours Richmond Foundation, Thalhimer also generously served from 1998-2007.
